Members of CPT Scotland recently completed a successful study tour hosted by Cleckheaton-based coach dealership Arriva Bus and Coach (ABC), Van Hool and DAF to Belgium.

BC was represented on the trip by two members of its sales team – Terry Hill and Dave Gregory. Group members also enjoyed the opportunity to examine and drive the new Van Hool EX15H coach, which was present at the UK Coach Rally over the past weekend (May 6/7).

Jeremy Tinsley, General Manager, CPT UK – Scotland, said: “On behalf of members at CPT Scotland may I express our gratitude to the team at Arriva Bus and Coach, Van Hool and DAF.

“Our members recently flew to Belgium for a three day Study Tour. During our comprehensive guided tour we saw a variety of Van Hool vehicles and DAF engines in all stages of production which was very interesting and informative. Members were also given the opportunity to take in the local sights and were given taste of Belgian culture.”

Laura Cooper, Marketing and Insight Manager at ABC, told CBW: “We want to get more involved with operators. In addition to its well-known hospitality, Van Hool is certainly in favour of showing customers and potential customers around its impressive facilities. It’s certainly something we’ll be looking to do more of.”
