Successful TfL tender round for London Central

London Central (LC) has secured four routes in the latest round of London bus tenders. Two of services are retained contracts. The 24-hour 36, with a Peak Vehicle Requirement (PVR) of 39, will use new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers (along with five Euro 5 hybrids built in 2011), while the 225 (PVR six) will utilise Euro 5 single-deckers registered in 2013. The 36 contract renews on February 10, 2018, while the 225 is renewed on March 17.

LC also gained two services from Abellio. The first was the 172 (PVR 18) which will introduce new Euro 6 hybrid double-deckers and start on March 17. The second is the 343/N343 (PVR 22) which will also use Euro 6 hybrids double-deckers.
