Based in Stockport, Supportability has been supporting children, young people and adults with a wide range of complex physical and learning disabilities since 1953 and aims to enable those with disability to live a fulfilled and independent life. The charity provides quality support services that enable those with complex physical and/or learning disabilities to access and use their inherent capabilities and enables those with disability to enjoy and take part in everyday life experiences, for which transport is essential. An electrically operated side step for walk-on passengers is combined with additional handrails to assist those with reduced mobility. Wheelchair access is provided at the rear via a PLS Access underfloor tail lift. The minibus was manufactured by FordPro convertor Minibus Options in Whaley Bridge.
