Switch Mobility has delivered the first of an order for 20 Metrocity 8.7m and 9.5m buses to Stagecoach in London. The 8.7m buses are destined for the operator’s Walthamstow depot, and the 9.5m variants for its Lea Interchange garage. Equipped with NMC battery technology, Switch says the Metrocity has been recently upgraded to deliver improved efficiency and increased range of up to 170 miles.
