The branding for the new Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service, Tees Flex, has now been revealed

Stagecoach has won a contract to operate a Demand Responsive Transport contract in the North East. Branded as Tees Flex, customers will be able to download an app to order a bus to pick them up within a specified operating area.

The service will use a new fleet of seven Mercedes-Benz Sprinter-based EVM Citylines. Full details of the service are not yet known, but it is understood that operations will commence within the first two months of 2020 and the vehicles will be operated from the Stockton-on-Tees depot.

Minibus can now show you the first images of the fleet, which are vinyl wrapped. Look out for full details about the operation in a future edition of Minibus.
