Temsa is joining forces with Ilesbus to host a new trade event at its Cleckheaton premises on 23 and 24 August in response to the cancellation of the Coach & Bus UK 2023 show which was scheduled to be held at the NEC in Birmingham this autumn.
Temsa UK & Ireland Regional Account Manager Paul Gardner explained: “As a new dealership and in light of recent news surrounding the cancellation of the show, TSUK and Temsa wanted to offer our customers an opportunity to meet the dealership and manufacturer in 2023. After early brainstorming we decided to offer a relaxed event that has quickly increased in size. We have had an amazing response so far.
“To offer more selection and choice for our customers we decided to partner with a non-competing manufacturer as part of the open house. Ilesbus had worked alongside Temsa in the previous dealership on the site so it was the logical choice. In addition we collaborate on aftersales for the UK with Ilesbus so a working partnership already exists.
“The aim is to bring the coach community together in a relaxed and informal event whilst showcasing the products from both manufacturers, and all topped off with the hospitality that TSUK is known for. The event is open to anyone who enjoys or operates coaches and for anyone from our wide and diverse industry. On show will be new and used coaches from the two principal exhibitors as well as used buses and coaches from other brands.
“There will also be classic buses and coaches, race vehicles and other vehicles of interest, as well as demonstrator coaches and test drives for new and used vehicles. Over 20 trade stands will be housed in in our showroom area, offering full supplier contact with industry colleagues, and of course free refreshments and food will be available all day, including free ice cream for the kids! We also hope to have a number of local dignitaries and sports teams to open the event, and there will be a charity raffle in aid of MND.”
