Oxford Bus Company is to let Ukrainian refugees arriving in the UK travel free on its Airline airport coach service between Heathrow and Gatwick Airports and Oxford and High Wycombe. The operator is extending free onward travel to Ukrainian nationals arriving at either Heathrow or Gatwick Airport, in line with a number of other air, rail and coach operators which have offered similar support across Europe.

Passengers will need to show a valid Ukrainian passport to obtain free travel on the service. Phil Southall, Oxford Bus Company Managing Director, said: “In line with many major travel operators across Europe we are offering all Ukrainian nationals free travel on our Airline service to help them reach safety at the difficult time. If any Ukrainian national needs to use our Airline service all they need to do is simply show their passport to the driver to board.”
