Transdev intervention means that Eurolines services continue to operate between the UK and the continent. TRANSDEV EUROLINES

After National Express decided to shut its UK-based Eurolines business late last year, Transdev, a global provider of mobility services with 83,000 employees in 19 countries, expanded its Eurolines-branded continental long-distance coach services to the UK from January 2018.

By providing 10 daily departures from London Victoria to France and the Benelux on high-quality large-capacity coaches with free 4G WiFi, Transdev is allowing British travelers to access 1,500 cities in over 22 countries in continental Europe and Morocco at very competitive fares.

Transdev’s bet has proved successful as the company reports that occupancy rates on both sides of the channel are close to 100% every week.

In London, Eurolines tickets can be purchased at Victoria Coach Station’s main ticket hall, at partner travel agencies and through the Eurolines website, www.eurolines.eu.

Hugo Roncal, CEO of Transdev Eurolines, commented: “We knew the value of the Eurolines brand in the UK so it was quite straightforward for us to expand our continental activities.

We are happy to provide British customers with the largest coach network in Europe, under a well-established brand, Eurolines.”
