Turners Tours deregisters local bus services

Turners Tours of Chulmleigh, North Devon, has deregistered all of its Devon County Council local bus services with effect from 28 October. The services operate in the Barnstaple, South Molton, Crediton and Tiverton areas with two services also operating into Exeter. Turners Tours were established in 1920 and now are in the third generation of family ownership. Devon County Council has confirmed that it is currently finalising replacement operators to take over the routes currently operated by Turners. CBW understands the reason for the cancellations is unfortunately due to an illness of a family member.
