The UK Coach Operator Association (UKCOA) says it is delighted to announce that it is currently offering up to 16 months’ membership for the price of 12, meaning that any operator which joins now will see its membership run until the end of February 2025. Run by coach operators solely for coach operators, the Association represents its members on key national and local issues, including PSVAR, vehicle technology and the journey towards zero carbon, fuel, coach infrastructure in town centres and other key destinations, driving standards and employment.
Darren Curd, Associate Director of Wrightsure, one of the UKCOA’s Platinum Industry Partners, said: “We welcome this initiative from the UKCOA. Having played a major part of the evolution of the London Tourist Coach Operators Association into the national association that it is today, we would encourage any coach operator who is not a member of any trade body to join the UKCOA. We stand alongside them, enabling us to understand the challenges of PSV operations together with advising the membership on key Insurance matters.”
Anthony Marett, proprietor of Marett’s Chariots and UKCOA Chair, said: “The UKCOA is recognised as an important voice within the coach industry. We hope this membership special offer will encourage operators to join us and enjoy the benefits of being in an organisation that’s key purpose is to support them and represent them on the issues that matter most to coach operators running a business in these challenging times. By increasing our membership, we will strengthen our ability to effect change for the good of our membership and the wider coaching industry.”
