Ebusco has signed a contract with Verkehrsbetriebe St Gallen (VBSG) to supply 12 Ebusco 3.0 buses, due for delivery in 2025. The 12-metre buses will feature three doors and will be powered by a battery pack of over 350kWh. They are expected to cover an estimated 60,000 kilometres per year through the mountainous scenery in and around St Gallen.

The order is the first for the marque in Switzerland, Ebusco having already received orders from Sweden, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. VBSG CEO Ralf Eigenmann said: “With this new order, we take another significant stride towards our goal of becoming climate neutral by 2050. We eagerly anticipate our partnership with Ebusco, firmly believing that the Ebusco 3.0 represents the optimal choice for delivering clean and sustainable transport throughout our region. We are confident that this partnership will not only benefit our community but also contribute to a greener, more environmentally friendly future.”
