Vehicle will be available for test driving and viewing in the UK in June
Volvo Bus has announced its B8R Euro 6 chassis is now available in the UK with the new Sunsundegui SC5 bodywork.
Currently on tour around the country, the vehicle is described by Volvo as being the perfect tourer for both UK and continental travel. Available with 38/41 seats and being just over 10 metres in length, the manufacturer claims its superior manoeuvrability makes it highly suitable for both inner city use as well as in the open countryside and more challenging terrain.
James Hyde, Retail Sales Director for Volvo Bus, said: “All the technical, safety and fuel saving benefits of our Euro 6 chassis combined with the stylish design of the SC5 and its many features make it an impressive and versatile vehicle for drivers and passengers alike. Although classed as a midi, the Volvo B8R SC5 offers extensive luggage capacity and an optional rear saloon toilet as well as a range of executive level specification features, including reclining seats, three-point seat belts and leather headrests.
The Volvo Sunsundegui SC5 will be in Ireland for one week from May 11 and then returns to the UK when it will be available during June for test driving and viewing.
