Volvo Buses’ Middle East and Africa division supplied 24 B11R coaches to the 24 participating teams in the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) hosted in Cameroon between 9 January and 6 February. Working in collaboration with importer partners SMT Africa and GB Auto, the buses were supported by qualified technicians to ensure uptime requirements were met.
“We’re proud of this first collaboration between our importer partners SMT Africa and GB Auto, which was planned and executed in a very professional manner. Our tailor-made coach meets the high requirements of safety and comfort for the players while they gear up for their big games,” said José Moreira, Volvo Buses Director for North and Middle Africa.
