Celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of Wallasey Corporation motorbuses are taking place on Easter Sunday. They will include a recreation of the first service, between Seacombe and Harrison Drive, and a display of buses on the former Wallasey Corporation depot, now the site of an Asda supermarket.

Local operators and anyone with a bus sporting Wallasey connections are welcome to participate at the event on 12 April. “We would like anyone with a bus having local connections to bring it along.
