Warner Bros. Studio Tour London is switching to a new zero-emission electric bus service. Starting this month, the buses will replace an existing route that operates between the Studio Tour in Leavesden and Watford Junction railway station. The company said that its move to e-buses means over 264 tonnes of CO2 per year will be saved from entering the atmosphere.

Geoff Spooner, General Manager of Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, said: “We’re delighted to have made the move to fully electric shuttle buses for our visitors and staff at the Studio Tour as part of our commitment to sustainability. The electric buses will be free for all visitors with a valid Studio Tour ticket for the day of travel.’’

National Express Transport Solutions is partnering with EV fleet and battery storage specialist Zenobē to operate a fully electric fleet of buses for the shuttle service. Tony Lawman, Managing Director of National Express Transport Solutions, said: ‘’Buses are already one of the cleanest ways to travel so existing and new passengers can relax knowing that they are doing their bit for the planet if they leave the car at home and travel on this service. This partnership demonstrates our leadership in sustainable transport and is another step to achieving our commitment for our bus fleet to be solely zero-emission by 2030.’’

Steven Meersman, Co-founder and Director of Zenobē, added: “We’re delighted to be the partner for National Express Transport Solutions at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter. We were able to deliver the infrastructure on time without disturbing day-to-day operations at this popular venue and are delighted to add these very special vehicles to our growing portfolio of over 25 depots and around 540 e-buses across UK and abroad. Visitors can now enjoy the magic of a clean, sustainable journey.”
