Municipal operator Warrington’s Own Buses says it is excited to announce a new partnership with Warrington Wolves, becoming
the club’s official travel partner as part of a collaboration which underscores both organisations’ commitment to the Warrington community and which aims to make match day travel easier and more sustainable for fans.
The operator says that recent data from the club’s end of season survey revealed that 20% of fans already use the town’s buses to get to home matches, representing a significant 50% increase since 2019. “We’re incredibly proud to partner with Warrington Wolves,” said Managing Director of Warrington’s Own Buses Ben Wakerley. “We have always been fans of the Wolves, and this exciting new partnership takes our support to the next level. We’re committed to providing convenient and reliable bus services for fans, helping them get to the Halliwell Jones stadium easily and sustainably.”
CEO of Warrington Wolves Karl Fitzpatrick added: “We are thrilled to partner with Warrington’s Own Buses and encourage our supporters to take advantage of their services on match days this season. We look forward to working together and making travel more convenient for the Wire family.”
