Family-run Warwickshire Travel has chosen Stertil-Koni’s mobile column lifts to streamline its outdoor maintenance operations. Based in Princethorpe, the company operates a fleet of coaches, buses and minibuses, and due to height restrictions within its workshop, carries out some essential maintenance outdoors. To support these operations, Stertil-Koni has supplied cabled mobile column lifts with specialised protective covers, designed to perform reliably in challenging environments.
The supplied lifting equipment consists of four Stertil-Koni ST1075FSA mobile columns, each capable of lifting 7.5 tonnes for a combined lifting capacity of 30 tonnes, including the manufacturer’s ebright Smart Control System, which allows engineers to operate the lifts individually or in unison via touch-screen consoles. The lifts can raise a vehicle up to a height of 1.85 metres in 75 seconds and are powered by a standard 415V supply.
