on Saturday 3 November. The shuttle services to the stadium will be run with executive

Zeelo has announced a partnership with Welsh rugby to trial a new flexible, cost-effective shuttle service for supporters around Wales with tickets for Under Armour Series matches at Principality Stadium.

The ‘smart transport’ company will use data analytics to assess demand and send executive coaches on routes that currently have limited service – helping fans reach the stadium quickly and seamlessly.

Five initial routes have been confirmed, including one from Llandudno in North Wales, via Aberystwyth, and one from Bristol, with the further three routes picking up in the likes of Aberdare, Cwmbach, Mountain Ash, Pontypridd, Abersychan, Newport, Norton, Sketty, Port Talbot and Bridgend.

Additional routes are expected to be added all around the country as supporters and rugby clubs register their interest in the service: no location is considered too remote if the required demand is met, Zeelo says.

The routes are designed to be as direct as possible, and includes stops at rugby clubs such as Hirwaun, Abercynon, Abersychan Alexanders, Pontypool, Cwmbran, Bridgend Ravens and Llandudno RFC.

Current prices range from £14 to £20 per person, although discounts are available for each of the 320 Welsh Rugby Union member clubs.

The first test for the new routes will be Wales’ opening Under Armour Series match against Scotland, held in Cardiff on Saturday 3 November.
