Gleaming at the Horspath Road depot of Thames Transit in 1994 is Ikarus Blue Danube-bodied Volvo B10M 24, J499 MOD. Whilst the grey may be gone in 2025, the Oxford Tube has always used a red-based livery, providing a consistent colour giving customers something to relate to. RICHARD SHARMAN
