Woods Travel Ltd of Bognor Regis has announced that its Managing Director, Roger Elsmere, has been awarded the lifetime achievement award at this year’s Johnston Press South Business Awards, held at the Grand Hotel in Brighton on October 2, 2015.

Roger’s tireless work for over four decades has ensured Woods Travel has established itself as one of the best operators in the industry, evolving from a small taxi service running two Zephyr-Zodiacs, to a 17-strong coach fleet and an ABTA bonded independent travel agency. The company also runs the Sussex Cruise Club.
Roger said: “My business’ achievements would not be possible without the support of my friends, family, staff and loyal customers.

“Woods started in 1971, and grew steadily over the years; I am stunned to stand here today with such a prestigious award.”
