On Sunday 27 July, the annual Worthing Bus Rally will return to the South Coast town’s seafront, in conjunction with the Worthing Seafront Festival. As well as vehicle exhibits, there will be trade stands and catering, plus the opportunity to travel on the free bus services to places around the Worthing area.
Modern and heritage vehicles will be used. Entries for this year’s rally are now open, the organisers report. The winner of the best vehicle in show award at last year’s event was East Lancs AEC Regent V 373 FCR, owned by Peter Edgeler. The bus was new to Southampton Corporation Transport in 1963.
