Wrightbus has announced a new distribution arrangement with Close Brothers Commercial Vehicle Solutions (CVS).
Under the agreement, Close Brothers has placed an initial stock order for 50 Wrightbus StreetLite buses in 2015, which will be immediately available for rental and leasing by bus operators.
Close Brothers CVS was founded in 2002. It can assist prospective customers with vehicle finance solutions, enabling them to get quick and easy access to the buses they need for their business.
Managing Director of the Bus and Coach division at Close Brothers CVS, Mike Beagrie, said: “This new and exciting collaboration with Wrightbus will enable us to support operators around the country who are seeking immediate delivery of vehicles.
“This is particularly important for those operators who perhaps don’t want to take the step of an outright purchase with the level of capital expenditure this can involve and instead may prefer to look at alternative leasing and flexible rental options.
“The StreetLite is an exceptional vehicle range offering many benefits meeting the needs of today’s operator. In recent years, its fuel consumption performance has made it the bus of choice with nationally based and regional operators alike and we’re pleased to be working with Wrightbus in this new arrangement.”
Ian Downie, Managing Director – Sales and Customcare for Wrightbus, said: “We’re excited to be working with Close Brothers on this exclusive agreement as it will allow us to better meet our customers’ aspirations by offering immediate delivery to suit certain operational requirements.”
“Part of Close Brothers Group plc, Close Brothers CVS is a well-established and respected company in our sector with an excellent product portfolio and track record of customer service. It is therefore an excellent company for a distribution agreement for our StreetLite range and we look forward to a long and successful ongoing relationship with them in the future.”
