Wrightbus Group has more than tripled its pre-tax profits to £14.5m in 2014, the BBC has reported.
The profit was achieved on a turnover of £297m in the 15 months to December 2014.
According to the article, the Wrightbus Group directors’ report said the figures showed a ‘substantial improvement’ in the Ballymena-based manufacturer’s performance and that the outlook for 2015 was positive, with a strong UK order book.
Wrightbus Group now employs more than 1,500 people, mainly in Ballymena.
