Yellow Buses says it is delighted to be the headline sponsors of the Destination Awards for the BCP (Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole) area, and although the glittering prize-giving night of celebrations was thwarted by the pandemic, the company said that by working hard with officers from BCP Council, it was recently able to personally deliver the awards directly to the 15 gold winners.
The annual awards celebrate excellence in every sector that makes up the tourism offer locally, and Yellow Buses is the first headline sponsor for this new event. David Squire, Managing Director of Yellow Buses, said: “as a locally owned company, it was important for us to celebrate the positive contribution that local businesses and people make to the vibrant tourism scene here in the BCP area and we were delighted to take the awards to the winners as they couldn’t come to us”
The Destinations Awards bus, driven by Jay Thornton, Coach Sales Executive, together with MD David Squire and Marketing and Sales Manager Fiona Harwood visited numerous businesses across the BCP area, representing all of the different sectors that add to the tourism offer locally, from hotels to bars, and from a dog-wash to the night-time economy.
