A newly branded Jubilee bus has entered service and will be travelling across the Bournemouth-Poole conurbation on services operated by Yellow Buses. Bournemouth Coastal Business Improvement District (BID) has joined forces with the operator to create the eye-catching double decker. It is decorated with a Union Flag and promotes the BID’s trading areas of Boscombe, Southbourne and Westbourne.

Paul Clarke, chairman of the Coastal BID, said: “Our Jubilee bus looks superb, and we’d like to thank Global Communications for the artwork and Yellow Buses for making it happen. Our partnership with Yellow Buses will be ongoing and our joint aim is to get more people visiting our areas by bus. It is all part of our campaign to encourage people to #LoveBoscombe, #LoveSouthbourne and #LoveWestbourne.”

David Squire, Managing Director of Yellow Buses, said: “This is the latest of our branded buses and passengers love them. We’ve been celebrating big national occasions for more than a century and this week’s Platinum Jubilee will be one of the biggest. We hope people will take advantage of our cut-price ticket offer over the long weekend – details of which can be found on both Yellow Buses and Coastal BID’s social media channels.”
