Yellow Coaches has partnered with London-based Golden Tours to operate a new hop-on, hop-off open-top bus sightseeing tour
this summer.
David Squire, Managing Director, explained: “This summer will be a phenomenal year for staycations, with Bournemouth set to benefit from increased visitors as lockdown eases. We are delighted to have partnered with Golden Tours, experts in sightseeing tours with taped commentaries for this summer, with the new service starting on Saturday 29 May and operating through to the end
of August.”
Golden Tours’ blue buses will tour the popular sights of Bournemouth, Sandbanks and Poole. Golden Tours Managing Director Mikesh Palan said: “We are excited to reach new destinations around the UK, and with this summer set to be a popular one for domestic holidays and day trips, Bournemouth is the perfect match for our next hop-on, hop-off open-top bus service. We are proud to have partnered with the highly respected local operator Yellow Coaches on this new venture.”
Golden Tours now operates open-top tours in Bournemouth, London, Windsor and York. MCV DD103-bodied Volvo B9TLs 121-4 (BU14 EHR-T/V) will be used on the Bournemouth Tour, with Yellow Coaches numbering them 5096-9.
