Yutong recently delivered 30 electric C13E coaches to Chilean operator Codelco. The buses will be used for employee shuttle services in mining areas, and reflect a growing desire for green travel, including electric buses, in the region. Yutong says its C13E has been designed to cope with extreme environments such as high altitude, steep slopes and harsh road conditions in mining areas.
Codelco said that the introduction of new electric buses is important for its green goals and environmental protection.
