Kings Ferry-owned Stewarts Coaches of Reading has recently taken delivery of five Yutong TC9s
Stewarts Coaches of Reading, part of National Express-owned Kings Ferry Group, took delivery of five Cummins powered Yutong TC9s from Pelican Bus and Coach at the end of April.
Stewarts Coaches’ website said that: “These coaches bring something completely new to the Stewarts product, not only a new brand of coach but also the size of coach itself. The Yutong offers the flexibility of a smaller coach being able to access locations that a full-size coach may not be able to but is able to offer market leading under storage boot space only usually seen in much larger coaches, as well as featuring on-board washroom facilities, TV/DVD, air conditioning, USB and power sockets and refrigerator. This style vehicle is perfect for the smaller size group travelling with luggage.”
The TC9s vary in specification; two have 30 seats and the remaining three are all 34-seaters. All seating is trimmed in part leather. The TC9s will be used on private hire including sports teams, tours (both UK and Europe) and social groups.
