SPAIN National Express Groupowned Alsa has acquired 15 Setra ComfortClass S517HD coaches, becoming the first of their type to enter service on the Iberian peninsula The tri-axle coaches, which form part of a 28-vehicle order which will be delivered by the end of this year, are being used on long-distance routes.
The 56-seaters are equipped with Setra Voyage Plus seats, with head sections upholstered in leather as well as footrests, plus LED reading lights and tinted windows.
Alsa Managing Director Victor López commented: “The Setra ComfortClass 500 touring coaches combine comfort and safety for both passengers and driver at the highest level. We are very impressed by the quality of the Setra products, as well as by their reliability.”
