Transport for London (TfL) has opened a consultation on bus routes in the West End.

The routes affected by the proposals are all in the Tottenham Court Road area and people have until July 24 to provide their views.

TfL said the plans, if adopted, will simplify the bus network and cut journey times for many passengers.

The consultation comes ahead of the introduction of two-way traffic to Tottenham Court Road and Gower Street, which is planned for the end of 2018 as part of Camden Council’s West End Project.

The routes that might be affected include: 1, 10, 14, 18, 19, 24, 29, 30, 38, 73, 134, 176, 205, 242 and 390. Some night services may also be affected.

Two drop-in sessions are being held on Tuesday, July 5 and Wednesday, July 13, at the American International Church, on Tottenham Court Road, W1T 4TD, where people can discuss the bus proposals further with representatives from TfL.
