ITALY Otokar Europe and importer Desio-based Mauri Bus have delivered the 300th Otokar to an operator in Italy. It’s one of 10 12m Kent Cs for Amag Alessandria, a company in the Zoncada Group which took delivery of its first Otokar in 2014. Now more than 30 are owned.
The Zoncada Group is one of the biggest operators in Italy, with more than 10 companies including Amag Alessandria. Founded in 1922, it owns a fleet of more than 1,000 buses. Mauri Bus has been the official Otokar dealer in Italy since 2011 and is owned by Carlo and Umberto Mauri.
The Kent C is powered by a six-cylinder Cummins 6.7-litre engine driving through a Voith automatic gearbox.
