Organised by the Bedford Enthusiasts Club, the event venue is Pages Park in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire. Saturday 28 August will see a ‘timeline of Bedfords’ on display in age order from 1931 to 1996. The Saturday gathering will conclude with a road run, setting off at 1700hrs, then the Sunday event will demonstrate Bedfords in their various uses.

Bedford’s lightweight buses and coaches such as the SB, OB and WTB were the mainstay of many independent operators for 70 years or more, though Bedford also produced heavyweight chassis.
AWD and Marshall vehicles, which succeeded Bedford, will also be welcome at the event, which will take place in accordance with any Government guidelines that might be in place at the time.
“We are hoping this will be a very special tribute to Bedford,” said organiser’s spokesman Carl Lemon.

Trade stands, autojumble and steam train rides will also be among the attractions.
