Manchester has come together to write some very special Christmas messages for bus drivers and transport workers across the city. The festive messages, written by the people of Manchester as they shopped and enjoyed the Christmas markets, were placed on Go North West’s giant Christmas tree at its Queens Road depot as a surprise for staff.
Nigel Featham, Managing Director for Go North West, explained: “Buses are at the heart of city life and that means our city’s bus drivers are too. We know how much our colleagues, and all bus workers across Manchester, are appreciated by customers, and this is one way to help share some festive joy straight from all the great people they meet day in day out.”
