Jonathan Welch speaks to 21st Century about its rebrand to Journeo and how its solutions can help provide a more connected, data-led operation

The name Journeo will be familiar to many in the industry already, even more so following the recent move to consolidate all the company’s operations under the same brand. Subsidiaries 21st Century Fleet Systems and 21st Century Passenger Systems have moved to the new single business brand, which represents the established technology at the heart of the company’s integrated solutions for operators and local authorities, designed to streamline operations by connecting vehicles and infrastructure to a scalable, secure cloud platform.

The company’s range of products and services stretches from the core Journeo Portal – a connected transport platform – to automatic passenger counting, CCTV, camera mirror systems, driver monitoring and telematics systems and next stop displays. It works closely with local authorities, Passenger Transport Executives and fleet operators to support them in delivering integrated and connected systems, leveraging Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and open data standards to support the coming together of new and legacy systems.
