Otokar has received orders from two operators for a total of 148 buses as part of framework agreements signed with Consip, Italy’s central purchasing body, in 2021 and 2022. The deliveries for the orders, which amount to €34.2 million, will start in the second half of 2023 with plans for all to be in service by the first half of 2024.

The first order of 58 buses will be delivered to the Tuscany region; 28 medium-sized Vectio buses and 30 CNG-powered Kent buses will join the fleet of operator Autolinee Toscane, which operates services in Tuscany along the Tyrrhenian and Ligurian seas. The second order is for 90 CNG-powered Kent buses, which will be delivered to Puglia regional operator Regione Puglia Dipartimento Mobilita, to be used in the region, in the south of Italy.
