Epsom Coaches’ MD Steve Whiteway has visited Neu Ulm to personally inspect two new Setra coaches due to be delivered in late August to supplement the Epsom fleet. With EvoBus withdrawing the marque from the UK market as Euro 6 is implemented it might have been the last opportunity to visit the facility as a customer.
The two coaches, costing £360,000 apiece, are nearing completion. They are expected to enter service with Epsom Coaches in September and are joining an all-Setra fleet which the company believes provides the very best travel options for it’s discerning clients.
Project Manager, Peter Minnette who is overseeing the introduction of the coaches into the fleet, accompanied Steve Whiteway on the visit. Peter said: “The birth of a new Epsom Coach is always something special. Our visit to the factory confirmed the reason we buy this prestigious marque. The quality of build, high standards of sophistication and comfort represents an outstanding investment and a sign of our confidence in the future.”
