With only two weeks to go before the beginning of the 2013 World Police and Fire Games, official partner Translink has unveiled a specially branded Ulsterbus Tours coach featuring two of the Games’ best known athletes.

Fire fighter Jose Milara from Madrid and policewoman Connie Siefarth from Germany, who have participated in previous Games, are pictured on the coach in front of two iconic Northern Ireland landmarks. The branded vehicle is part of Translink’s platinum sponsorship of the World Police and Fire Games which run from August 1-10, 2013.

As well as travelling throughout Northern Ireland during the Games, the coach is part of the premier Ulsterbus Tours fleet used in tours covering Ireland, Scotland, England and continental Europe. It is available for private hire.

Alistair McGowan of the World Police and Fire Games, said the branded coach was a superb addition to the World Police and Fire Games: “We are sure the branded Ulsterbus will be a real talking point with both the public and our competitors. This attention-grabbing wrap makes a strong visual link between the Games and Northern Ireland. Anticipation is growing as we prepare to welcome thousands of athletes, their friends and family. We are pleased to be working with Translink which will provide all bus, coach and train transport.”
