MAN Truck & Bus UK has announced the sale of the 350th Neoplan Tourliner since it was launched in 2008.
The model is one of the longest running products in the range. The 49-seater Neoplan Tourliner has been sold to Maynes, based in Buckie, on the Moray Firth, and is expected to go into service at the start of the new season.
Managing director Gordon Mayne said: “We know the Neoplan range very well and are very impressed with the overall finish of the new coach. It is a great honour to be recognised as the customer of the 350th vehicle sold in the UK.
“The service we receive from MAN is exceptional and that, of course, is backed-up by the four-year warranty and service package. We have all our MAN and Neoplan warranty work done by Elgin Truck and Van who look after us very well.
“The coach will be in a tour company livery predominantly working on a UK based tour program and will also be mixed in with our private hire customers’ needs.”
MAN Senior Coach Retail Sales Executive, Matt Jacob, added: “We are delighted that an established customer such as Maynes has purchased our 350th Neoplan Tourliner.
“It is a huge milestone in the marketplace and we are sure it will be a popular vehicle in the fleet when it goes into service at the start of the 2016 season.”
Paul Gardner, General Manager of bus and truck with MAN, said: “The Neoplan Tourliner is the longest running product in our range and is without doubt a high performer.
“We began selling the Tourliner in 2008 and are delighted to have achieved our 350th sale this year.”
