The UK Bus Awards finalists announcement for 2017 will take place on Thursday, October 12, at the Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester.
Mark Yexley, UK Bus Awards Chairman, said; “Our Finalists’ Announcement is a very special day for all those involved in the awards, and particularly for those who’ve done all the hard work of preparing and assembling their entries.
“We’re very excited about visiting the North West, and especially coming to this iconic museum, which celebrates the industry’s proud heritage of public service throughout Greater Manchester. It’s a great setting to celebrate all that’s best in today’s industry – and the people, projects and organisations that will shape the industry of the future.”
The first round of judging for this year’s awards is now almost complete, and those selected to go forward to the final round will be notified before the end of August when they will be invited to attend the finalists’ announcement on October 12.
Mystery traveller checks and interviews will take place during September and October before the final decisions are made in time for the results to be announced at the scheme’s 22nd annual presentation ceremony, which will take place at lunchtime on Tuesday, November 21 at Troxy in London’s East End.
