MPK Cracow (Kraków) has introduced 38 Euro VI Solaris Urbino 18 artics on routes 105, 164, 179 and 184 in the city. The specification of the buses includes air-conditioning, CCTV and a passenger information system as well as USB ports for charging smartphones. The buses are being leased through Millenium Leasing Sp. z o.o.
Solaris says that it has been cooperating with MPK Cracow since 1997. Since that time 462 buses have been delivered including 26 with electric drives. In January this year, Solaris in a consortium with Stadler Polska, signed a framework agreement with MPK Cracow to supply 50 low-floor trams.
