Lothian’s Skylink Launch Contactless Travel

Lothian’s Skylink bus services began accepting contactless payment for bus fares on Tuesday 15 January 2019.

The service enables passengers to pay for their fare via Visa or Mastercard, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay.

Contactless payments are now available on services Skylink 200, Skylink 300 and Skylink 400

The Lothian services now accepting this payment method are, Skylink 200, Skylink 300 and Skylink 400 which connects Edinburgh airport to the north, west and south of Edinburgh.

Nigel Serafini, Commercial Director from Lothian said: “We are sure this will be a welcome addition for customers travelling on our Skylink services across Edinburgh.

Contactless will complement our existing range of value for money ticketing and payment choices for our customers, providing a seamless and convenient way to pay for your ticket.”
