A book detailing the history of one of Britain’s best-loved independent operators has raised more than £5,000 for what is said to be the largest cancer treatment hospital in Europe.

Lancashire United – the fleet 1900-1981, written by Mike Eyre, Richard Allen and Peter Greaves, was published by the Manchester Museum of Road Transport last year. Thanks to the generosity of the authors, and distributors of the book, MDS Books, profits from the publication have been donated to the Christie Hospital in Withington, Manchester. […]
