In its ongoing partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, Arriva is taking part in a string of organised beach cleans.
On Monday 15 April, volunteers from Arriva’s Liverpool head office helped to collect 241kg of rubbish dropped on Formby Beach.
Dubbed ‘Arriva Angels,’ the volunteers found more than 1,000 single plastics, and as part of their environmentally friendly clean utilised bags for life and encouraged people to sign up for beach clean events in the future, which will take place in June and September.
