Stockton-based Delta Coaches has secured a contract with William Hill bookmakers to provide VIP transport to all major horse racing meetings across the UK.
The operator has expanded significantly over the last two years, doubling its turnover, and is forecast to increase by 33% in the coming year.
Delta Coaches Director, Judith Haysmore, said: “We are thrilled to be selected as it is a testament to the quality of our product and service.
“We have two dedicated, sign-written buses for William Hill that will be used to transport up to 500 people each day.”
Gary Walton, Delta Coaches Managing Director, said: “This is a particularly exciting time for us with the business going from strength to strength.
“The support we’ve had from our partners at Anderson Barrowcliff and Punch Robson Solicitors has helped us to realise our business dreams and take them beyond what we could hope to achieve.”
James Dale, Partner at Anderson Barrowcliff, who has assisted the firm with fundraising, business planning and general accountancy, said: “Having worked with Delta for almost three years, I have seen the effort the directors have put into the business and the sacrifices they have made to make it a success.
“These contract wins are great news for a truly Teesside business and as a company we strongly believe these local organisations should be championed.
“Delta Coaches is continually growing and will soon be one of the North East’s market leaders in its industry.”
Elaine McLaine-Wood, Managing Partner at Punch Robson Solicitors, said: “We have watched the growth of Delta Coaches for a number of years and are proud to have worked with the team to facilitate their recent expansion including the acquisition of GL Lever, and larger premises in Stockton.”
