Express coach operator, megabus.com, introduced some timetable changes from Monday 20 May which sees Manchester-based MP Travel take on its first scheduled megabus service.
Long-time megabus.com contractor, Hamilton of Uxbridge will also operate one journey on the revised M11A service.
Director of Communications at Stagecoach Group, Steven Stewart told CBW: “We are introducing some timetable changes from Monday 20 May which will see two contractors operate two trips on the route between London and Manchester, which is part of Service M11.
“Hamiltons of Uxbridge will operate a London to Manchester round trip on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday, which will be Service M11A. MP Travel will operate the reverse service from Manchester to London and back on the same days.
“The contract is initially for one year and the service will be delivered using a megabus-liveried Mercedes-Benz Caetano equipped with USB charging, WiFi and toilet facilities.”
Whilst there are already many Caetano Levante-bodied Volvos operating with megabus.com contractor South Gloucester Bus & Coach, the MP Travel coach will be the first Caetano Winner-bodied Mercedes CT650 on the network.
