Ridleys Coaches of Leamington Spa in Warwickshire took delivery of further new coaches from Volvo Coach Sales, Coventry last week.
Ash Brown, General Manager of Ridley Coaches told CBW: “We thought it was time to get equipped for the new introduction of the ULEZ zones that are now becoming commonplace; we believe we now have the largest fleet of Euro VI coaches of an independent operator in the West Midlands area.
This year we have seen the biggest growth in the history of Ridleys Coaches.
So far we have taken delivery of three Jonckheere JHV2-bodied Volvo B11Rs, four MCV 523-bodied Volvo B11Rs and one Volvo 9900, with two more awaiting delivery.
“Our fleet currently sits at 45 coaches, 20 of them being Euro VI. We have already invested in seven more coaches for delivery in the next 12 months.
“The demand for our services is very high and we at Ridleys do our utmost to fulfil any requirements our clients require.
All new coaches now come equipped with WiFi and USB ports upon our client’s request.
“Our new Volvo 9900, named Alfie, is a special edition for our 10th anniversary, and the feedback so far is amazing!”
