Stagecoach East London has gained two routes from Tower Transit in the latest round of TfL tenders.

Route 25/N25, which has a PVR of 31, will transfer to the operator on 23 May next year; new Euro VI hybrid double-deckers are slated to be used on the service.

Additionally, the 425 will change hands on 4 July 2020. Stagecoach intends to use 21 new Euro VI hybrid double-deckers on the service.

Meanwhile, route 482 is scheduled to transfer from Metroline West to Abellio West London on 21 March. As with the aforementioned two routes, brand-new hybrid ‘deckers are to be used – eight of them to be precise.

Routes 282 and G1 won’t be changing hands any time soon; the former will be staying with Metroline West when the contract renews on 7 March, while the latter will continue with London General from 2 May.

The 282 will be utilising 16 Euro V hybrid-double-deckers built in 2013, which have already been retrofitted to Euro VI standards.
Thirteen Euro VI single-deckers are to be used on the G1 service.
