Plans have been announced to turn a former Arriva depot at Bishop Auckland into a transport museum, reports Nick Larkin

The North East Bus Preservation Trust (NEBPT) is hoping to raise £320,000 for the initial purchase of the pre-war building in County Durham, which could accommodate up to 100 vehicles.
