Brake friction technology firm Textar has revamped its online catalogue system Brakebook.
Brakebook’s web-based catalogue and marketing service contains catalogue data covering Textar’s entire product range, is free to access and designed to help customers save time when trying to find the correct brake parts.
Brakebook also allows customers to create printable catalogues tailored to their individual requirements and in the desired formats. Customers can create their own catalogues for the entire product range, a selection of products, articles for particular manufacturers or for special models by using current data and the same format templates that Textar uses for its own paper catalogues.
A new function now allows users to produce a catalogue separately for bus, truck or trailer applications.
Alongside the web-based version, the online catalogue is available via a free mobile app, which gives fleet operators and commercial vehicle workshops an optimised version of Brakebook, available for both Apple and Android phones.
Sue Mckay, Global Category Manager CV at TMD Friction UK, said: “We have created Brakebook to be as state-of-the-art as possible to coincide with Textar’s expansive product range, and to ensure we are providing optimum support to distributors and garages to make selection of the right brake parts for commercial vehicles as easy as possible.
“Textar has been at the forefront of brake friction technology for over a century and Brakebook further reinforces our position and offering to the commercial vehicle sector.”
