French manufacturer Heuliez has announced that in 2019, it produced 439 vehicles at its factory in Rorthais, and according to sources within the company is looking forward to producing over 500 in 2020, its highest number since 2013, Ouest-France has reported. It expects around a third of those to be electric vehicles. The French newspaper reports that the company, which employs around 440 full time staff, is set to produce three buses per day in 2020, including delivering almost 80 buses to Groningen and Utrecht, and around a hundred to RATP in Paris.
